Distant Worlds

I saw Distant Worlds - Music from Final Fantasy in New York

It was fantastic and I definitely recommend it to any fan of the Final Fantasy series. The composer, Nobuo Uematsu, was at the performance as well. Arnie Roth was the conductor.

Definitely worth the trip to go see it. they even got the audience to sing Sephiroth! :D

What's new?

Yes, I know, I haven't been here in a long time. Just wondering if anyone actually visits. Anything new in the sci-fi realm you want to talk about. I can bring up just about anything. Please let me know and I will get this thing started again!

Congrats Tommy! #300

Tom Glavine gave up 2 runs with 1 walk and 1 strikeout over 6+ innings to earn his 300th win last night. He is 1 of only 5 lefties to reach this milestone. He is tied with Grove at 300 and will likely move into 4th all-time for lefties. I believe he is the 23rd pitcher to reach this milestone, but people are welcome to leave comments telling me I am wrong. :)

A big CONGRATULATIONS to him!

Let's Go Mets!!

Not much

I know, nothing has been going on here. I guess I just haven't had much to say.

Anyone watching Pirate Master on CBS? it is a fun show along the theme of Survivor (another favorite). If you can, catch it on Tuesday night!

Have fun!

Phil's Manic Challenge!

Hi all,

Has anyone had luck with completing Jiminy's journal request of getting 1000 orbs in Phil's manic challenge? We have been able to get up to about 823, but that is the closest. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Scott finally settles on a topic

This blog was a little haphazard to begin with and I have decided to dedicate this blog to my interests in the Sci-Fi andf Fantasy realm. If anyone has any suggestions as to what books to read, games to play or movies to see, I am always ready to listen.

Thanks,
Scotty
